With the long road of winter ahead of us, fear not! GBSI has you covered when it comes to extreme weather events and your average Canadian winter weather.
Our regular winter store hours will be 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. As always, we will be available 24/7 for the 2021/22 winter season. Our salt hotline is 416-605-4748, in the case of an extreme weather event someone will already be on site.
If you are looking for quick and efficient service we are the place to be for all salt needs! We carry rock and treated salt in both bulk and pre-bagged, as well as ProMelt™ ice melters in bags.

Tips for staying on top of the salt shortage
Standard salt will only melt ice in temperatures as low as -7 degrees
Ice-melters work in temperatures as cold as -21 degrees
Treated salt goes further than regular rock salt, less is more
Sand-salt mix is always an option for cutting salt costs
