Description

FIBERTOP is the #1 surfacing solution for new and retrofitted playgrounds. It is a “made in Canada” engineered impact surfacing system. Our specialty processed, virgin wood grindings in combination with our high-performance drainage layer, exclusive wear mats, and flexible edging complete the “Fibertop System”.

Fibertop® is engineered from a mixture of debarked wood straight from the sawmill. The ratio of small to medium and large size particles has been optimized to provide the maximum impact attenuation. While soft enough to be safe, properly installed Fibertop® is also firm enough to be accessible for persons with special mobility needs.

FIBERTOP is IPEMA certified to ASTM F2075 and ASTM F1292 (complies with CAN/CSA Z614) and provides the following benefits:

Notes on Bulk Materials;

  • Bulk materials can be purchased by the cubic yard (CUYD), or by half yard, but a minimum of 1 cubic yard is required.
  • As most bulk materials are a naturally mixed product, some product variances are expected, but not much.

Deliveries;

  • Bulk materials are delivered in a dump truck that needs to lift the box portion of the truck into the air to allow the material to dump out the back.
  • Best practice for deliveries is to have an open, clear driveway, with no overhead wires. The driver will use their best judgement to determine if the location is a good enough location for the material.
  • Due to the nature of how the material is delivered, we are generally unable to pick the material back up from your location.
  • It is always best to come in and get or see a physical sample before making a large order.
